A white blouse and a black blouse do most of the work in a wardrobe, which is why we keep both in stock year round in several sleeve lengths and fabrics. Most of our blouses are true to size with a relaxed through the body cut, but fit varies by brand, so check the measurements on each product page. If you are pairing one with denim, remember our denim is very stretchy and most styles recommend sizing down one from your usual department store size. What is the difference between a blouse and a shirt?

A blouse is a woman's top cut from a softer, drapier fabric such as rayon, satin or lightweight cotton, usually with a looser fit through the body. A shirt is more structured and tailored. In practice the words overlap, and most of what we carry here works either way.

What blouses work for the office?

Long sleeve and 3/4 sleeve button ups in cotton or a wrinkle free knit are the safest bet, in white, black, navy or a small print. Our wrinkle free styles are the ones customers reorder most for work.

Do you carry white and black blouses?

How should a blouse fit?
